Renault Espace 1.9 dCi Authentique 5d (2003/53)
hi all, i'm new here, hoping to get some advice on a potential purchase!
I have been offered a Renault Espace 1.9 dCi Authentique 5d (2003/53) 1870cc for £1450. It has done 94k miles (cam belt change at 73k). Apparently the vehicle has a rear seat missing (doesnt bother me, im a street performer and plan on removing them all anyway), a faulty heater blower (i'd imagine a fuse but not sure), a noisy wheel bearing and an illuminated abs light. none of this sounds like much to be afraid of to me?
However, the reviews I have read are pretty awful. Many saying these cars are so unreliable (mainly electrics) and parts very expensive. is this correct?
I absolutely love the look fo them, and it would be perfect for my lifestyle. However, I naturally cannot afford regular and or big mechanic bills, nor can I afford unreliability.
I was wondering whether there is anything in particular I should look out for and whether anyone has any experience of owning this model.
any help is hugely appreciated, thanks in advance!
