Personally speaking, I'd sleep easier at night if it were the terrorists that were fitted with GPS and the Government knew their movements...

Imagine, the system works at the moment - those who use more, pay more. Very little (comparatively speaking) admin involved.

Instead, we'll go to the scenario where people who drive (on set roads during set hours) pay more. There is a massive spend on the monitoring infrastructure, plus all the extra jobs/admin involved.

Who pays for this? Will Gordon pay for it out of all the taxes? - will he heck as like!

As usual, the most-heavily taxed members of society (car owners) are hit the hardest.

I'd happily tell them where they could stick their GPS's..

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.

It would seem that the petition of OVER 659,000 has fallen of deaf ears.

I've signed the petition - undoubtedly being a company car driver now if this taxation was to come in, I would be stung extremely hard!!

And it's not like I can do without the car - as an on-street engineer, the company give me the car as it's the only way I can get to the job, and also the only way I can get my tools there!!

Some people say I'm stark raving bonkers, the others just smile and nod...
