Door Mirror Glass fallen off - best glue for re-attaching?

Espace MkIII 2009.

I have a 2009 Espace, and this weekend the door mirror glass on the drivers side slid off, I noticed and stopped it from falling and breaking.

It has a heating element on the back, although it appears this has been put on the glass the wrong way, as the connectors are the other end to the wires, which won't stretch to the other end!

Notwithstanding that, what is the best adhesive to achieve a permanent fix to the plastic mount in the housing? (It was held on by some strips of sticky stuff, but this obviously wasn't original.)

Any help appreciated, I have seen elsewhere that evo-stick Impact adhesive is good, my concern is that I am effectively gluing the heating element to the plastic mount, not the actual glass?

If a permanent bond is needed, either seam sealer or Tiger Seal is best.

Both will take a day to fully cure (best to support it with masking/duct tape), then once set - it'll be very secure indeed.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
