Is My Laguna a Dynamique in disguise?

I bought my 2005 (face-lift) Laguna almost a year ago now. It's the extreme model or so I thought!

It comes with all the extreme features and is registered as an extreme with the DVLA and insurance etc.

Problem is I've discovered all over the car 'I.D.' stickers and badges that claim it's a Dynamique

Do you think it was intended to be a Dynamique but as it rolled off the line was changed to an Extreme model?

If so do you think all the wiring looms etc would be present for things such as the Renault Sat Nav and 'toys' like Rain Sensative Wipers and Auto-Headlights. If I went and bought the controls for such items i.e. the sensor for the wipers and the unit an screen for the Sat Nav and fitted them they would simply just need connected up and they would work? I'm assuming that if you take them as the optional extra in your car that Renault simply plug them in to the wiring loom that is already there. I can't imagine they re-wire every car with wiring looms to suit the extras choosen by each customer and save time and money by having the looms already installed in all cars just ready to be plugged in to the sat nav or rain sensor etc??

I ask as I have already noticed that I have the sunlight sensor that also is wired to something (the wires are there when you remove it) but what can it be wired too as I have the standard 3 control Air-con just now

Your help and opinions would be appriciated?

Talking off the top of my head here (I could be wrong) but I think the Extreme should have the conventional cable operated parking brake in the centre console, whereas the Dynamique has the electronic one.

If I'm right, then that should be the give-away. What sort of handbrake do you have?

Wiring loom-wise, some of it is probably there and some of it isn't. When people with earlier Lag II's have tried to retro-fit the sat-nav, they've found that the wiring looms weren't correct. We've also had a case of someone trying to sort out fog lights on a car that didn't have them using the existing looms. It was an absolute nightmare, and certainly not as straightforward as just plugging in the appropraite lamps, switches, fuses and relays.
