Hi there Tommy, yes the 'mayonaise' is water which has emulsified with the
. Basically, a gasket or seal has failed somewhere internally, which has let the fluids mix. You will probably also have some
in your expansion bottle.
It will adversely affect the car's running, as compression is normally weakened.
I wouldn't drive it any more than is absolutely
essential,(if at all) as you might cause the engine to fail altogether and it won't be repairable...
