Some may question the ethics of purchasing a warranty (when you know there's a fault), but how can that be realistically proven?

At least if you spend some money on a warranty, you can view it as an investment rather than an expenditure.

Hope that helps.

2001, 73000. Do you think its worth it?

It really depends on how long you plan to keep the car - if its in good condition, etc. I mean, this may well be the straw which has broken the camel's back (so to speak) and you've had enough and want to sell it on. I don't know how reliable and cost-effective its been until now.

I wouldn't like to influence your decision one way or another.

Just bear in mind that all cars (regardless of make & model) have their own achilles' heel.

I'm sure you'll make the right choice for you.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
