Which fuel to use

I pick up my new Laguna on Tuesday and I was wondering what diesel fuel is the best to use.

I used to have a Pug 306DTurbo and you only had diesel. Now there is city diesel, bio diesel etc.

What if any are the differences?

Thanks in advance,

Any diesel from a named brand, Esso,Shell,Bp will do.
I tend to avoid cheap supermarket fuels unless absolutely necessary. Apparently the fuel is the same but the additives are either lacking or different.
Bp do BP Ultimate which is supposed to be superior, problem is it costs several pence a litre more than normal diesel.

Most Diesel these days is low sulphur or ultra low sulphur, which is also called City diesel by some companies.

Don't know much about bio diesel - would be wary about putting it in a modern diesel until its effectiveness and reliability have been proven over a period of years.
