1 week with Laguna reporting

Hey all.

ok its been 1 week today since I started using my S reg laguna DTI RT 1.9.

After a good scrub on the inside, I started my new job in Ealing (near Wembley, London) and daily for the last week I have driven 159 miles.

Total miles since I had the car = 995 miles.

Not a single problem, low revs is sluggish as hell, when compared to the Volvo D5 Engine, but liveable if controlled, handling is nice and better than the 1999 rover 623 gsi, power and cruise speed are great, comfy cruising at 80 and second and third have a nice pull to them for the 1.9.

I actually enjoy the drive to and from work, no niggles or issues so far.

All in all, great car, glad I got it over the pug 406 I considered getting.

Managed to get over 700 miles on a full tank, considering I got lost several times during the week trying to locate my new office and had to floor it on several occasions to try and get to work on time, add to this the stopping and starting of M25/M26 and M20 roads not bad at all.

oh if anyone should happen to be anywhere on the M26/25 between 7am and 830am or on the M40/A40 between 8.30am and 9.30 am dailey, Im ijn a red S registered plain looking Laguna, possibly (if I fit my sub and amp) with a booming boot area and possibly flickering lights.
Currently in spottedhaggis's garage:
2002 Laguna 1.9 DCI Privilege....and is loving every second of it

My dTi was flat as hell at low revs, too. It was a nightmare to get it pull away from junctions quickly.....

Mines of to a new home soon..I put it on ebay this morning and it's already close to it's reserve.I've had people emailing me all day wanting to take it away for cash now,but I'm letting the auction run.I'm leaving a forum sticker in the back window so we might have a new member soon!.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
