The mis-guided Greens out there who try to save electricity by driving in the dark with their lights off...

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.

Does any one know the best way of returning a hat for refund

My golden rule for the road would be pure observation. Watch everything and think for everyone else on the road! Watch what they do with their car as it's often an indication of what they will do next ! For example on the motorway if you the car in front drifts slighty to the right near the white lines the chances are they will indicate (if your lucky!!) of pull out into your lane. People tend to do what their brain is thinking before they actually make their move!!!

That same thing saved me last night on the M25 when a lorry drifted to the line and I was able to back off before he swerved into my lane without indicating! It was a foreign plate so obviously not used to the roads laws here!!

Predictive driving also helps a lot, you do know when a driver you have been behind for a while is going to turn in to their street. so allow a little room.

Any "pope mobile" type cars, Yaris,Daihatsu etc - driven by the same people as micras!

They have to slow down every time a car approaches from the other direction, even though they are on the other side of the white lines, brake for every corner & drive at a constant 45mph, regardless of the speed limit actually in force! The exception is on the only short straight bit of road that you could actually overtake safely they speed up momentarily to 55mph just fast enough for long enough to stop you overtaking them, then slow down to 45mph again.
