Have you got draughty doors

If you have got draughty doors and you are getting excessive wind noise .

Try this trick that I have used on many cars in the past .

I used the same method on my laguna at the weekend and it has transformed my drive on the motorways

Take a length of telephone or alarm cable and cut it the length of your door seal that is leaking

Push the cable under the door seal like in the picture all the way back so that you dont see it

And you will have a less windy drive

Never read Beauty magazines they will only make you feel ugly

Excellent post Canonman.

Another tip for "P" door seals (e.g. Clio2) is to use some draught excluder the foam stuff that comes on a roll about 5mm thick (white foam rather than the grey sponge type) and using electricians wire snake/fish tape/ access rods etc carefully pull the foam through the "P" in the door seal (you might need to remove the seal and straighten it out to do this, oh and if self adhesive DONT remove the backing tape.)

This makes the "P" a bit thicker when the door shuts and stops draughts, wind noise and water penetration from the seal.

Hope it helps

Why is it the older I get .... the better I think I was ?
