Unhappy Spilt paint on my seats.. Help!

Hi all I have leather seat in my laguna II, the other day I picked some touch up paint and stupidly left on it on the seat. when I went beck the car it had leaked from the container. I now have a metallic grey streak on the passenger seat. I have tried brush cleaner, turps but it wont shift.

Anyone got any ideas?

try wet wipes, you know the baby things. they take dried paint off of most surfaces

Just thinking out loud here, and this might do more harm than good, but T-Cut works by softening paint and letting you rub it away. Try it on a hidden part of the leather first to see if it does any damage. If it doesn't, then it might be worth a shot.

and not forgetting good old white spirit.
we had a litre of gloss paint thrown over our old car and a couple of hours work with white spirit did the trick

If you have tried and exhausted all these aforementioned methods (and the stain is still there), then you may wish to try a very very dilute amount of nitromors paint remover (I mean like a couple of drops mixed with some white spirit), but be very careful, this stuff is extremely dangerous to use, and don't leave it on the paint too long or it will damage the leather underneath. I would dab it on with a cotton bud, but be prepared to wipe it off almost immediately.

As I say, this is pretty much a last-ditch method as it is so corrosive to paint and skin.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
