Whoops 20,000 mile

Whoops a quote from Here

Surely such high technology, performance and great fuel economy must mean more servicing? No. Vauxhall's new common rail diesel engines require the same 20,000-miles/one year service intervals as the petrol engines.

I wonder if they anticipate any turbo problems?

And another whoops!:
New Corsa models powered by the 1.3CDTi 16v engine boast one of the lowest CO2 emissions figures of any diesel car, an impressive 124g/km. This means they qualify for the Government's Band C (currently £115.00 for 12 months).

Who knows, if they homologate this one below 120 g/km it'll be most beneficial to have such as a company car as well.

Too long in my opinion too. I'd change oil at 7K and sparks at 10K.

If they use decent quality oil ,then they'll be OK.

As said before, the 12 months part is the important part.....

Things are moving on very quickly, and Renaults lesson has been learnt by all the manufacturers. The dCi turbo failures have cost Renault dear, and in these tough times for manufacturers they won't be taking any risks....

That said,my brothers 6 month old Zafira is currently having a new engine fitted to it under warranty........but he is a disaster area when it comes to new technology!

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
