Can't complain about any of the hydraulic clutches I've had but would still prefer a cable, simple lever sticking out the bell housing and manual adjuster.

well we did a silly thing mainly as i like the s but yesterday picked up an x type jag its just a quick had one and move on job but being low mileage and a se and better on mpg than the honda its very nice to drive got it from the same place as the honda but cant get a 6x3 sheet of plaster board in it

Had one and loved it ..parts are easily available cheap ..only got rid of it due to needing a hatchback ..did look for an estate but most had intergalactic mileage and no history ... auto box is smooth

It is easier to take it apart than to put it back together

box is at the age when the oil needs to be changed it has a slight whine at low speed/gear meant to be oil /sealed for life but looking on the jag forum its an easy job to do so looking for the best price for the correct oil its funny i know its a ford and has the ford key which made fords easy to break into and they still make cars with them
its only the 2.1 v6 but still has some go in it but a bit of fun with it then it will move on and i will be back driving my honda
