Re: moving on

These are fine cars whose sales were hurt only because they were petrol only, and so many were bought by women of a certain age, it was nicknamed the HRT.

Find one that's been well cared for (shouldn't be hard), and you'll be as happy as Larry.

Happy hunting.

Paul

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.

Re: moving on

The Honda HRV and CRV are known to be thirsty.

Sadly Honda never concentrated on fuel economy but thankfully concentrated on reliability and function.

My experience of Honda is that it does exactly what it says on the tin -no more - no less. Also spares can be pricey - even after-market components.

In the past 3 years of owning my Civic apart from routine servicing the only extra required was a new battery (70-00) which cost the same as a battery for my previous Lag II diesel and even that was a non-Honda one. The batteries are small but pack a punch.
