Pond Issue

Sorry to interrupt the footie but has anyone out there ever paid a Renault garage to search out the source of the pond in their Scenic?
The reason I ask is the AA having cocked up our vehicle inspection has after a lot of blaming everyone but themselves decided to refund our inspection bill of 195, they believe this is good will ! Trading standards and CAB say that we shld ask for damages as we would never have bought the car if we had know it included a pond. Dont know if shld see if Renault garage could sort out the cars problem and reclaim money from AA. Your thoughts appreciated, many thanksx

Where is the pond, Front footwells or rear?

The usual suspects to check:

> The drainage tubes from the sunroof (they are in the corners od the sunroofs and exit behind the wheel arches)

> the sunroof seals themselves, roof lining normaly damp.

>The air inlet for the interior heater / cooling. This is located in the grill in front of the windscreen ans the drain hole can get blocked with leaf debris etc. causing water to enter through the inlet hose.
