Has anyone tried this stuff?

I have an oil leak from the cylinder head gasket (I am semi reliably informed!). As I don't really fancy selling a kidney to get a garage to replace it I wondered if any of you clever chaps/chapettes had tried this stuff (see link). If so is it good/bad or is there anything else anyone could recommend?

I used this stuff or at least something simillar in my v6 espace engine head gasket was very bad pressuring the system etc put the gunk in and within half hour engine was behaving again lasted 3 more months till i had time to replace engine

Also used it in my sons 306 diesel he though i was kidding the look on his face was a picture when he came back to say it worked lol

BUT i do not recomend it as it is in no way a permanent repair it is for sealing coolant problems anyway not oil leaks

Couldnt have put it better myself ...

Its an aluminium head, so if the gasket is leaking then the head has warped and needs skimmed .... get it done right ... its not that hard a job if you mechanically minded if not ... save your pennies .... sorry

Why is it the older I get .... the better I think I was ?
