my last clio failed just on the seat belt clip middle one, lucky i knew garage they took it apart and found the darling lil child that sits in car seat had put a penny in. took it out worked fine, i now leave it plugged in so he can't stick nothing else in.
kids who have them!! lol

Bankie,the more I think about it the more I'm sure that we had a Clio do exactly the same at work the other day....

I think I'm right in saying that you can get just the clip from Renault rather than having to buy a complete new belt.....If memory serves me right it wasn't expensive,so where your dealer is getting their figures from I don't know!

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....

The price they quoted was for the clip only, but it comes in a double unit together with the drivers side rear seat belt clip. I'm expecting a call from the dealer today to see how much of the cost Renault will stump up.
