I phoned Renault and they advised that I could go to any VAT registered garage that carries out work as advised by the service schedule, ie work list and parts.

The 3rd year is still covered and can be carried out by independent garages so long as all conditions are met.

They advised that they can no longer force owners to use Renault dealerships for services or warrenty work under new rules/laws.

The work got done by the independent.

It was a breath of fresh air, he was chatty, knowledgable, quick and CHEAP. A lot better than #########, he was (and I hope this does not break any rules) :-

Mendal Motors @ Thornaby, near Stockton on Tees, in the North East.
Currently in ian77's garage:
2006 - 56 - Scenic II - 1.6VVT - Dynamique - Quartz
