I have had a lot of problems with my Laguna, but as with all cars you get what you pay for in most cases, has not put me off the idea of getting another one, if I could afford it I would buy the new one due out this month

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and you obviously had a duffer.
However, by editing and deleting your posts you have "upset" the balance of this thread by deleting information you originally posted.

I read the your original posts but did not reply at the time.

I have an 04, 1.9dci model which has now covered 46k miles, with no trouble at all, apart from the obligatory faulty window regulator, under warranty.

Yes I agree editing your original post has changed the whole context of the thread.

I am sorry your experiance of the Laguna was not a good one and yes there are many out there that have proved to be troublesome for there owners but also there are a lot of very happy Laguna owners also who have ahd many trouble free miles/years from there Laguna.

A bit of care and attention prior to purchase would have saved you a considerable amount of hassle but I feel the condition of the vehicle was indicated by it's purchase price.

Good luck with your new car.

It seems many people who experience problems with their cars nowadays seem to turn to the internet and associated forums for advice or for somewhere to air their gripes. I have noticed some who visit this site seem to think this forum is an official Renault forum. May I make a couple of suggestions.
1. On joining members should be informed the forum is run purley by volunteers who freely give their time whenever they can - and answers may not always be available - simply because the problem has never been discussed.
2. It may well be worth considering adding a section whereby members can praise their cars and report positive views.
3. If new members where also encouraged to use the search facility they would discover a wealth of helpful information rather than shout and become disappointed for not getting a reply.

Personally I am very pleased with the two Renault cars I own and am willing to shout "VIVA RENAULT !!"
