Gave the Laguna last chance !

I have had a Laguna 2.2DCI Privlege Sports Tourer for 5 weeks, it has just about every optional extra that Renault could throw at it, including sat nav, sunroof, leather, electric everything etc, covered only 51,000 miles and in 5 weeks its been off the road for 3 weeks, it had far too many faults so it had to go, but I can imagine it would have been very good when new.
Currently in jkspoff's garage:
Renault Scenic Dynamique, 1.9DCI, panoramic roof, proximity sensors, 34k miles, electric blue, 2004

I'm going to call foul on internet experience being representative of the market on this one. There are almost as many lags around as there are mondeos. Clearly they are not all dogs. You bought a dog. Don't think you can tar 200,000 cars just because your turbo blew. Sorry, but maybe you should a) buy an Audi if that will make you feel lest dirty, b) do some research before you buy a car and c) take a mechanics course - you might learn something...

ps. the 6 grand extra you'd pay for an equivalent spec and performance audi would pay for what you've had done twice over.

I do think it depends on the car and also what year it is. I bought a June 03 plate car in may - done 10k in it since and only one or two niggles to report.

2010 Laguna Coupe GT

What do you expect for 450?

And why do you think that the car was part ex'd anyway?

Yes,the Lag you bought was obviously a dog that got dumped at a dealership because it was c#ap......and you were stupid enough to think otherwise.I hope you buy your next car with a little more care, and if you don't,I hope the next one turns out to be another dog and then you can moan about it on it's respective forum........

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
