New Lag 1 Owner! Few small questions!

My names Shane and i've recently bought a 1997 Laguna RTi 2.0S (quite proud of that, cuz im only 19 lol).

I've just got a few questions about this beast!

1. Why is it sometimes when i press the plip to lock the doors it beeps twice and (most the time) only beeps once. What's the difference?!

2. Under the steering wheel, where the fuses are, there's like this key hole. I've read the manual and it says it's something to do with the alarm. I don't have the key which fits into it (or it's hidden in the car somewhere i don't know!). Where can i get one of those keys from?

3. When i bought the car from the garage, we put the key in the ignition and the alarm started going off. He said you have to press the plip twice before you get in the car. If i do this now, the car will just lock and then unlock. Bit confused!

Any help with any of the questions would be really great!!

Cheers!! p.s. It's a damn nice car compared to the 1995 Escort i had before! LOL

Not sure on the first few questions, but you don't need to blip it twice when you get in the car.Just blip it once, and then start the car as normal. You only have to blip it twice if you unlock it,then leave it without the ignition being on,as after a certain amount of time the system resets it's self,so then you need to lock and unlock the car with the blip.....if you see what I mean!.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
