Children Killed on motorway

What the hell is the matter with the parents of these two children 6 and 7 years old. "I told him not to go near the motorway" says father........they should have been supervised at all times......I never let my child out of my sight, children do not respond to don't!!!!!

Life is too short...laugh and enjoy it while you are able to

'24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I Think not !!

Hi this is very sad but still i have to agree what are the parents doing letting them stray as far as they did,and now they want the highways agency to build fencing on motorways, what for??to be vandalized, iam sounding very hard here but it was dark when it happened also this needs to start with the parents not the highways agency,

I feel strongly that the parents are to blame here, these were very young children who should not have been let out on their own like that, not just because of the proximity to the motorway, which admittedly should have had a barrier, but because there was a wooded area between the houses and the motorway, which would be dangerous in itself in this day and age, with the amount of sicko's around, cant understand how some parents minds work, the father of one of the children did not in my opinion seem upset at all on the news

In my opinion, the responsibility (if not necessarily the blame) for a child's safety rests either with the parent(s) or the supervising adult - full stop.

My sympathy also extends to the drivers of the vehicles - they will never be the same again.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.

I know it was a very long time ago but I think I did some stuff when I was these kids age, things that should have put me in a box too.

I am sorry for the parents and the drivers, these kids were just normal children looking for adventure who took a step too far.
