Hi take a loo here, might be only applicable to 2005 >

You need to take the glove box out, no biggy, just a few screws, if the pollen filter is a but dusty clean it out, if its filthy replace it.

If your's doesn't look at all like mine, try a search.

Laguna1 Phase1 Filter

Hi there. My Laguna is a 1997 model and has an air bag where the glove box was on earlier models.

Is the filter behind this? If so, how do I remove the air bag?
