Laguna Coupe for 2008 and outher Coupes!

When is the new Laguna Coupe out, and will it look the internet shots, or are they purely conceptual?

What si the anticipated costs, i.e. how much we will pay rather than how much Renault would like us to pay?

Lastly, should I go for broke and go for teh BMW 3 coupe or Audi A5 isntead?

Also, why have I not seen ONE 407 coupe on the roads seeing as they have been launched for around 2 years??

There are a number of reasons why you haven't seen many 407 Coupe's on the roads. One is that a decent spec one 30k,and the fact that although the 406 Coupe looked quite nice,it was a dog and most people expect the 407 to be the same. The Peugeot dealer in my town had a gorgeous unregistered sliver 407 Coupe parked outside of their show room for months.........

The Laguna Coupe promises much, but if you compare the first prototype shots of the hatchback with the actual production version they have little in common. The Laguna 3 has turned out to be a complete let down, both in looks and(according to magazine test drives) performance/dynamics.I do hope that the Coupe turns out to be the lovely looking car it promises to be and can live up to those looks, but somehow I don't think it will.

The A5 hasn't been recieved well by the press either unfortunately,so that really only leave the beemer from your list.I'm not a BMW fan,but I have to admit that they are making some absolutely cracking cars at the moment, and although the looks of the new range weren't recieved well, they have aged and matured well and are amongst the best looking cars on the road.

Just my opinion,mind.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....

I'm test driving an A5 in the next week or so a 3 litre Derv! I don't think the reviews have been that bad - come to think of it I've not seen too many reviews. Do the side LED lights turn off?

I was following a new Lag in my van the other day - not good. Rather boring - looks like it may have come out of Korea in the 1990's! What's happened to Renault design flair - seems to have gone over to Citroen lately - see C4, C6, Picasso etc.........

Yep agree Hugh the Lag 3 has no road presence, just a pig ugly car in my mind.

Reviews if we all bought cars by reviews mm who would own a Renault/Ford/Vauxhall etc or many of the other cars on the roads, reviews are not to be ignored but used as a comparison to your own findings.

I like the new Audi A5, not just in looks but I think they are better put together than most BMWs and have a better cabin ambiance than BMW.
