my last renault, a 2.0 auto laguna was a nightmare, i had it a year and spent over 2k on top of the original purchase price, the gearbox mount ( super thin alloy ) snapped, the gearbox dropped and ripped the drive shaft out of place and it spun around smashing bits up on its way round, the cd player packed in, the sunroof leaked, the passenger door wouldnt lock, the 'service' light kept coming on despite being re set, the auto box packed in at 50k, the boot leaked water, the whole thing was a nightmare, renault charge shocking prices so it all had to be fixed using secondhand or recon parts .. and here i am with another renault .....eeek

£120 and rising!

I've spent £120 so far. Got the timing belt replaced the other day, and shortly after the red engine management light came on, as did the battery light!!!

Car stalled and now I've another problem to get sorted. Add this to fix a leaking sunroof and the broken hazard lights and I could be shelling out a few quid!
