It's always difficult to know when to cut and run but generally don't let your heart rule your head.
Good Luck with whatever you decide to do
I know what you mean Noel, I had a J reg orion 1.6i Ghia, paid 700 for her in a sorry state. Spent a while doing the work, head gasket, re-painted a door, alloys and various other odds n ends. Kept her for a year and then decided to sell up for a profit. Parked it up on my mums drive with a for sale sign in the window. 4 days later some toe rag nicked it. Got the car back a week later minus the engine. I had a block and tackle in the boot wich I had used to replace the engine in another escort I had a week earlier and forgot to take it out, the lil buggers used it to remove the engine and kept that aswell!!!
