I have spent a fiver on two used temp senders and 1 pound 99p on a pack of bulbs inc headlamp at a super cheap shop here. It is due for a clutch and a cam belt sometime but at 400 notes bought, it would be barmy, plus what would I get for it a baloon or a windmill?
I will not be one of the high spenders.

I've only had my second hand 03 Scenic 6 weeks and its cost me over 400 already. Had it two weeks and the rear passenger side shock absorber went. The person I bought it from did say i would get 6 months out of the tyres ...but not on the mileage I do, the front ones were nearly illegal when I checked them at the weekend, just got two new front ones and also new rear disc brakes and pads. That in total was just under 400. Just got other consumables for winter like winter strength screenwash and winter coolant. By the way its not that easy to check how much is in your screenwash is it?! My last car you could see it easily. All you can see is the yellow lid for it in my Scenic, its the most akward place as well, in the corner!

I'm hoping with the tyres and brakes done then that will do it through the winter and touch wood nothing else needs done.
