I would agree re the Volvo T5

having driven and taken a course in one of these
highly rated
there are lots of reasons you would rate the T5

saab areo offers a lot as well better acceleration than a lot of sports cars in real terms

the T5 R was too fast -real problem with keeping it under legal limits

reason was the T5 abilty to provide real acceleration in real condtions where you need it most
some of my Biker friends used fear this car more than any they just used to park up and hope it would go past

http://www.expolicecar.co.uk/st if you want a well looked after one

though the one car i always preferred was the 2.2 lag diesel can go faster and longer due to less fuel and takes less time/money across Europe

My best car was my subaru legacy gt estate

twin turbo monster with auto box 4 wheel drive cruise aircon etc

All wraped up in a grampa shell

Even my wife liked it so it must have been good

fast and reliable as long as you are sensible with them but fuel economy terrible !

Hard to say what was my best car as I have had so many and sometimes the best is not the fastest or most exotic but the memorys it brings.

I had a Ferrari 328 at one time and could possibly consider that the best for the sheer buzz from owning and driving a car with such a pedigree, expensive, impractical, a magnet for babes and louts in equal proportions ........but jeez hard to describe really .

Probably the best all round car I have owned is a Saab turbo 3 dr from 1987, I really liked my Saab and enjoyed it's pace and comfort on a long journey, not fast off the line but a tremendous mid range for the era, liked that car a lot ......

Thats exactly the reason we got rid of ours ... my better half wouldnt drive it because it was scary .... we had just had our first born, ideal car I said .. *&@#@ she said ..... and it was decreed it had to go ... to be replaced by our first Espace ... 1994 seems so long ago ....

What did I do .......

Why is it the older I get .... the better I think I was ?
