Renault Master locks

Hi. I have just bought a second hand Renault Master van. 2002 LH35 2.2l DCI. It came with two sets of keys, only one of which has the remote transponder key so that the doors can be unlocked remotely with the ignition key. The other has an ignition key with chip for the immobilisor, but no remote operation. I wasn't too worried as I assumed if I used the second set I would just have to manually unlock the doors. But when the van is locked, I cannot unlock any doors manually with either key. Should I be able to? How can I get a second transponder ignition key? Any help gratefully received. Len

Yes you should be able to lock/unlock the doors with both keys..
Strange that.. perhaps the barrels have been replaced at some time..
It will now be impossible to get a key cut for the barrels.. So a new set of barrels/key blades will required..

A New central locking key can be purchased from a dealer, it must also be programmed by a dealer.

Do NOT buy a used one from Ebay as they cannot be programmed to your vehicle..

Thank you WebCode. I suspected as much. I will take this up with the guy who sold it to me! It's a horsebox conversion by the way. Your help is much appreciated. Len
