What's more important to can you use it ( biodiesel ) legally - yes you can if you can find a retailer, I can't round here within an economical distance- will a diesel Espace run on (diluted) vegoil. My Rover diesel evidently will with no mods, dilution varies according to time of year ie temperature. Has anyone tired it with an Espace? I believe some injector pumps will, some won't, accept vegoil. Jeff

I have a bio-derv dealer within 10 miles, I hear the price is about 90p a litre but loose no mpg.

The previous owner of my 2.2dT espace ran my car on bio-derv he told me.

There are about 4 derv espace engines though isnt there?

and the 3.0 big derv!

Any more!?

I would have thought the DCI's will be more sensitive as they have alot more sensors!

Bio Diesel

My son who lives in Germany runs a 2 yr. old Fiat Stilo Diesel, he decided to try Bio diesel and within a month started to suffer fuelling problems. He had no problems prior to this.
The upshot was the replacement of the fuel lines. All the flexible fuel lines had started to break up and were clogging the filter and pipes with bits. It could have been worse I suppose.

I'm pretty sure I've seen bad environmental vibes about bio tonight, if you are bothered about that, try a Google, I don't recall the link, and not 100% sure of the facts
