Renault master Axle stands

Hi i need to raise the rear of my Renault master van on axle stands but am concerned at where to place them. It seems the safest place would be under the rear axle which runs between the two rear wheels. Is this correct. Thanks.
I have purchased x2 3 tonne axle stands with a combined weight of 6 tonne I assume these will be sufficient. Thanks in advance Dave

Hi Dave & welcome to the Forum

I've just moved your post over to Cars & Motoring, I doubt anyone would have noticed it in "Tools & equipment"

Re: Renault master Axle stands

Have a look in your hand book in mine it says axle stands should be placed at jacking points only but I cant see why you couldn't put them directly under the coil spring rear axle cups if you have them on your van..

Ok edit just checked and found you have leaf springs so put the jack directly under the spring at their mounting point..
