Hi LineyT and welcome to the forums, if I haven't already done so

Small engine so shouldn't be too expensive on the wallet insurance wise. Looks like a good little motor, average mileage, long MOT, 6 months tax.

Only thing I would say is to test drive any car (if you haven't already done so) before commiting to buy. It then gives you the chance to really go over it with a fine toothed comb and ask any questions you feel are relevant.

If you haven't had the chance to test it, then wait for another one to appear, there's always plenty going on eBay .

Good luck, whatever you decide

If there is no service history and no opportunity to test drive - walk away. Genuine sellers have no problems with either of these requests

And spend 35 and get an HPI check done on it. A mate of mine bid on and won a 54 plate Punto on e-bay which on the face of it appeared to be a bargain. HPI'd it and it appeared on the hit list, something the seller forgot to mention. Seller said he bought it at auction and didn't know, but looking at the V5 it was noted on the bottom!

Annoyingly he left my mate bad feedback as he walked away from the deal. About 2 days later the car was back on e-bay under a different seller ID and still no mention of it being a repaired write off!

Caveat emptor
