Question Renault Laguna tow ring - where is it?!

Need to tow my 1997 laguna RTi to the garage but cant find a front tow ring or an attachment point to screw one in. Can any help - where do I attach a tow rope to tow it?
Thanks.

Laguna tow ring

I found mine under the spare wheel in the boot! It looks like a giant screw-in O like you find on back of wall-hung little pictures for the string to go in! There should be an attachment point under front bumper for it. Have u looked in boot on passenger side pocket? I found various useful tools lodged there in my newly acquired Lag, including golf tees, a pencil, wheelbrace, jack, screwdrivers and a paintbrush!

With the older laguna like yours you need to use the end of the towing eye to remove the black plastic cap down next to where the front fog light is. This exposes the attachement point for you to screw the towing eye into. I think its on the drivers side but could be wrong.
Currently in owenfackrell's garage:

In my Mk1 Phase 2 the towing eye is stowed in the left hand side of the boot at the bottom of a small storage space.
