Looking to buy Megane III - Advice

So 50mpg and a cheap tax bill isn't good these days? Damn, tough crowd in here tonight!

Megane III is a really well built car and the interior quality/feel is far superior to the older Megane II. The cabin is quiet and modern and my only bugbear with them is the stupid digital clock set which features useless fuel level/coolant temp gauges.

The 106 K9K is pretty reliable bar injectors at higher mileage but that's a Modern diesel thing in general. The newer 1.6dCi is far superior with both power output and economy but you will only find this in the later vehicles.

Buy the best spec you can as there's loads to choose from. If you want say Cruise and SatNav as an option, buy a car with it as adding it later isn't simple.
