The Rover 25 version of the L-series isn't common rail , but it is an electronic, high pressure injection system...

V Power petrol

Ive got to do the sums but whenever I put v power petrol in my car the trip computer always gives a better mpg than if I use the premium unleaded. I decided late Friday night I needed to go home and noticed I got about 42 mpg for the trip.
Coming back today I got 38.5 mpg but my car was full of premium unleaded.
Which is cheapest tho? The V power is slighty dearer to buy.
Anyone elese getting different results with different petrols?

I think the v power petrol has a friction modifier in it, this is supposed to reduce friction between the cylinder and piston rings.
so i guess thats why it performs a bit better than premium

not sure if it works out cheaper tho Interested in trackdays??
