Yes but as far as any warranty is concerned Renault just need the details from your stamped book.

I can understand if you are having problems with the car etc or you encounter any future problems.

If the car is running fine why the need.
Also any warranty claims in the past were covered by Renault and thus the details are theirs.

Have you considred contacting the previous owner

I have found that when you get the details all they will say is Turbo changed, Or brake check and dates, not a lot of detail in the lists they print off.

well I called Renault today and they said that they could'nt have a print out as it was the previous owner and its best for me to pay him a visit as he should have all the paperwork I require but she did say that the turbo in my Laguna was changed for a new one in 2004 and that was done under warranty and the EGR valve was changed for a new one in 2006.

She said I had the latest updated parts and I had nothing to worry about but I'm unsure if the turbo you buy off the shelf now are different to the earlier ones so who knows, mind is at rest for the time being
