Question Alarmed?

Hi all,
Im waiting to pick up my Laguan (on thurs) and need to know what, if any, security they have as standard so i can finish getting my insurance quotes. Ie alarm, imobiliser etc.

Its a 98 (very end 98) 2.0 RTi.

All help and a speedy reply appreciated.

My '98 RXE had the immobiliser as standard (as do all Lagunas) but the car did not have a factory-fitted alarm. At the time, I had trouble finding an alarm that would work from the remote central locking as opposed to having its own separate remote, and I ended up going for Renault's own 'Gold' alarm offering. This turned out to be a Sigma unit (don't ask me which model) which I could no doubt have had installed much cheaper elsewhere.

There's a good chance that a previous owner will have had an ultrasonic alarm fitted, but you'll have to wait for the car to arrive and then look for the ultrasonic sensors.

Try for the best deals on insurance - IMHO online insurance quotes normally include the standard alarm levels within the drop down boxes..
