Thanks agussy. Been monitoring this situation since I bought the car.

It seems that when the three dashes appear you have 5 litres left. At this point I zero the computer so I know how far into the reserve I am.

It is a bit silly because this car will do nearly a 100 miles on the reserve.

That's the problem with a digital gauge, when it says zero you really are in the dark. With a good old fashioned analogue gauge you can judge how close to the wind you are sailing because you can see the needle deflection from zero.

I have too admit i have thought about it a few times since having me new Clio, in the old car when i went around a bend or roundabout the fuel needle would move up or down but now nothing changes. A good thing i think but it was nice too know what side the fuel sensor was on.
