I used to squirt my washers to soak the car behind if it was following too close, always gave me a giggle when they had to put their wipers on - you beat me hands down with the instant fog bank though

A friend of mine once had an Allegro with a built-in smoke screen. It was a bottle of Redex in the glove box, piped through to the engine. One quick squeeze and he left the car behind in a cloud of smoke.

It could have been coincidence or maybe he used it a few times too often, but after a while the car started to smoke whether he squirted the bottle or not.
