Yes the place I had mine done also did diesel as well but they do not recomend it for general motoring as it would take too long to get the cost back if you are using gas diesel you need to do a lot motorway driving where you you can build you speed up and then ease back on the throttle to make the engine use more gas and less diesel this is how it was explained to me on normal short journeys it is just not worth the cost of the conversion I actually did see a diesel car that they had converted while I was there for a chck up of the system.

In some engines gas can be added as a supplement fuel but not as a replacement fuel and as already said the engine needs to running fairly evenly and not under changing loads. This idea has been around for a long time and has been adapted for large stationary engines which run at a constant speed and load. I have actually seen an experimental diesel engine running on a wood smoke supplement which was used to run a large scale generator connectied to the local electricity grid.
