I think the German's with their speed limit free sections of autobahn's set a good example of how to best deal with motorways.

I also like the "put your indicator on as if to pull into an imaginary fourth lane" is a useful and polite way of getting the poodlers out of the way..

However I did see the danger's of this system before my very rear view mirror last summer.

I stupidly forgot to check my rear view mirror every 20 nano-seconds whilst moving into the fast lane and very nearly got rear ended by a porsche driver traveling at approx 130-140mph..
