I've got a rip curl 07 Clio and am looking to get rid off the sticker that they put on the back. Can anyone help me with how I do this?

hi

No - do it dry. water and electric not a good idea. Be very gentle with the hairdryer heat, you want to soften the glue not bake it.

Have a look on you tube , I've just done a quick search and there are 20 + videos showing this method of sticker removal.

Prior to the hair dryer attack, it might pay to switch on the rear window demister to get a more widespread heat, now it's turning colder a sudden blast from the hair-dryer might just create a costly crack in the rear screen.

Hopefully pre heating will minimise the risk

I find the thinners for hammerite paint will dissolve most adhesives on double sided tapes and pads. Very volatile and evaporates quickly. Safe on stainless and glass, could remove paint and dissolve some plastics though. Also very expensive. Use carefully and on a test area first to be safe. Be especially careful on painted surfaces.
