Hi Riker1

I do feel sorry for you and I don't have an answer to your immediate query. But may I say "Thank you!" on behalf of all those on RenaultForums reading your excellently detailed piece. You don't apologise to anyone for length when it gives graphic detail about a MAIN DEALER carrying on like a huckster. Yours was a masterful report and a good example of how to get it ALL down on paper accurately and in one go! How could you have done it properly in LESS space?

Now can you tell us all,

(how do I put this diplomatically without getting Selwolk's knives out)

Kinda where in the country this Renault Garage might be avoided if one was passing?

Kinda what general post code so we can head another way and keep outa trouble.

If what happened to you happened to me IN A MAIN DEALER I'd engage in a civil action for damages. Maybe the wider Renaults Forum should organise a whip round if Riker1 wanted to go that way? Selwonk? You there?

She's amazing at what she does and it's blatantly obvious when she's on her day off. We regularly have a laugh when I go to pick my car up at what the techs have done to f*^k up my car again!
If I thought I could afford her wages, I'd have her working for me!

I hate to say this but your experiences are an all too familar story..

Could you list the part numbers and description of labour on your renault service receipt please..

In the meantime here is a post in our knowledge base which is attempting to solve the somewhat common problem of a drive wire failure giving Mr Renault Dealer a licence to charge the unsuspecting Renault owner 310 - ish of their hard earned cash..

Renault Service - It's like fecking legalised criminality IMHO !! Dishonest !!

Hang on, Selwonk, Do we have a "Name and Shame" section here?

Perhaps if Renault UK do actually look at renaultforums they might start and knock a few heads together - we live in hope.
