Forgive me for being a bit nieve here Stu, but are Renault mechanics not trained in the use of soldering irons??

We had an Astra fail it's MOT (at COWboys & Wallys - YOU know which dealer in MK I mean) due to a failed horn. I told our guy to ask for the failed horn after it had been replaced. He duely brought it into me and I tested it on a small 12V battery and it worked perfrectly. On checking the Astra, it appeared that COWboys had not only replaced the horn but had also fitted new spade connectors - Total bill = 135.50
