The world is a different place since 9/11, and as I understand any Fuel blockades could be as an act of "terrorism" and rapid arrests would take place..

I'm not advocating civil unrest Tig's

When the Grangemouth strike was on a convoy of truckers gathered at downing street and handed in a petition about the huge fuel increases the haulage industry has had to bear in recent years.

How many people were aware of that across the country ?

We have had major strikes/demonstrations in the past and what have they achieved ?

People don't even vote these days yet complain about Government.

Look how many have signed up here from our Membership base.

Apathy seems to rule in this country I'm afraid to say.

If I'm alright **** you Jack

So Number 10 has responded to this petition

If you drive a pre 2006 gas guzzler you will no longer be hit with the huge hike in road tax and get a maximum rise of 30.
