If it hurts, try the Whatcar valuations - they're a bit more wallet-friendly

Holy Smoke. Mine's...

Excellent: 5,500
Average: 4,790
Below Average: 4,380

So it's lost over 75% of its value over two and a bit years. Ouch!

Now consider the fact that it's just had 5 grand's worth of parts and 2.5 grand's worth of labour spent on it within the last couple of months... Double ouch!

It would seem that the same model with the 2.0dCi rather than the 1.9 attracts a 300-400 price premium over the above, depending on condition. I might be tempted by one of those if I'm ever in the market for a second-hand car.

I think the only thing that this site shows is how crap trade-ins are?

Personnally I always used to use Parkers for my valuations, Hondo's makes mine worthless and Whatcar haven't got my model, only the 16v model.

The Vauxhall site values my 2001 LagII at the same price I paid for it a year ago 1800 - if I've used it correctly.
It's like I have been saying Renaults don't hold their price and customers are paying too much second hand

You also have to remember the values stated are for trade ins - the price could vaary somewhat depending on what you are buying.
Whats a car worth - exactly what some idiot will pay - no more - no less
