my '98 Punto 1.2 60SX went through brakes at a rate of knots! and exhausts!

Rotted the sump from the inside out, many electrical problems, ate its clutch but it still drove even with all the clutch springs broken?! My mechanic had never seen anything like it!

1 battery, 3 break in's and 1 crash (aquaplain). The grip in the wet was non!!!

many many other problems....

Yeah I probably don't need to tell you tigzx about the bravo we had... but for everyone else..
2 weeks after getting it the gearbox blew up, 4 weeks after getting that repaired (340) the engine seized due to a dead oil pump. I wasn't ploughing any more cash into that one!

Ditto on the grip in the wet too Tigz. The bravo almost took me off the A28 one night on my way home from work. You wouldn't beleive how the saff grips the road though - totally different. I could swear it was glued to it...

I've had two renaults and both of them have been really sound cars. Never had a problem other than a small patch of rust but it was a '94 clio.

You just get one bad car in every so many that is a shame. Getting a new car soon, maybe a meggy. Will have to see what fundage I have.
