its the naughty key makers that are the problem, first you'll know is your motor isnt there in the morning...

so handy giving bad ppl the id of your car with the chassis no. in the windscreen.

mine peeled off this week, wont be trying to stick that back on anytime soon

If you are planning on doing the clutch yourself, may be as well to wait until you have the old unit out.
At least then you can see and compare old for new.

In these cases I like to use local motor factors, it is far easier and quicker to swap if the wrong part arrives.
And they can usually source the correct one in a few hours.
Currently in Dancingdad's garage:
Qashqai 1.6 spark driven, Kia Sedona 2.9 TDI, Scenic II 15DCi 2004 (SORN) not quite RIP.

That makes more sense. Less of a problem for Renault though - even my original keys don't always work

It was hard getting over my addiction to the Hokey Cokey, but I've turned myself around and that's what it's all about.
