The grease to use is specific to CV joints,and it usually only comes with the kit to replace a complete CV gaiter.You can try your local Motor Factor and see if they'll sell you a pack of grease seperately,or if your struggling,PM me your address and I'll send you one FOC.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....

As lagdti says you need to buy specific CV joint grease but I have bought it in a 500ml tin. I think off the top of my head you need about 5 - 10ml for one CV joint.
