Re: Scenic xmod ignition on?

I'm actually wondering if just key in is ignition on/off. I had a look at the ECU and my list says SID305/307 is used however this appears to be a SID310 so perhaps they have changed protocols which is where the issue lies. I will keep updated

Re: Scenic xmod ignition on?

Maybe I'm being a bit naive but have you tried putting the card in, not pressing start, and turning on the radio using the on/off switch? Or is there no on/off switch?

Re: Scenic xmod ignition on?

I THINK I tried that Heather, I will try again when the wife returns. TBH this card key confuses me haha
I might remove the ECU and open it for a good look sometime and see about doing it on the bench seeing as that doesnt alter the flash count system.

Re: Scenic xmod ignition on?

The radio will come on for a preset time just by pressing the radio power button, this acts independent of the ignition. To bring the ignition on temporarily for about a minute, (to drop or close windows etc) push the card all the way into the slot. It's a strange system to be sure. LOL

Does this work on Mains Libres (Keyless system) versions?
I'm not around the car to check it myself.
